Islamic Advertisement Organization

The Islamic Revolution had just triumphed, and the sapling for the propagation of pure Islam had just begun to blossom. Propagation and public opinion were important, and though the media differed from its modern meaning, it played a key and vital role. This was the pretext for the birth of the Islamic Propagation Council in early Tir of 1360 (June/July 1981) by the decree of the honorable Imam Khomeini (may God be pleased with him). This institution later expanded its activities on Farvardin 14, 1368 (April 3, 1989) under a decree from the great late Imam, changing its name to the Islamic Propagation Organization. Along its path, it has hosted great and renowned figures, from the exalted Martyr Haqqani and Martyr Abbas Shirazi to great personalities such as the Ayatollahs Mahdavi Kani, Emami Kashani, Mohammadi Araghi, and Jannati.

Throughout all these years, the Islamic Propagation Organization has been one of the most important institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the mission of propagating pure Islam. It was an Islam that stood against all heretical and deviant interpretations, and its guides were the Sage of Jamaran (Imam Khomeini, may God be pleased with him) and our Khorasani companion (Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, may God protect him).

It has been a family that, from its inception, made serious inroads into fields ranging from the traditional propagation of pure Islam to the committed art of the Islamic Revolution. Despite various ups and downs, it has always been one of the most important and trend-setting media and propagation institutions of the Islamic Revolution.

Years passed, times changed, and the demands of culture, art, media, and propagation have evolved to what they are today.

Today, however, the family of the Islamic Propagation Organization, more vibrant than ever, strives to pursue its role from two perspectives: playing a role in the country's cultural ecosystem through its institutes, subsidiaries, and family, and of course, supporting the people-led movements for the propagation of pure Islam.

The family of the Islamic Propagation Organization is indeed playing a more vibrant and expansive role than ever in the country's cultural ecosystem. This ranges from books, where the Book Foundation is active with well-known publishing houses such as Amirkabir, Sura Mehr, International Publishing, Saad, and Kharazmi, to the institution of traditional religious propagation, which utilizes new technologies like the SHAMA system, content-rich books produced by popular networks of preachers, and new concepts like the "Neighborhood Imam" system and "Mehravareh" festivals. Under the Hedayat Foundation, it strives to familiarize people and neighborhoods with a new vision of mosque-centricity and the role of people in governance.

Art and media, now vastly different from the early days of the revolution, are pursued within the family of the Islamic Propagation Organization with new forms, styles, and content. The cinematic films from Hozeh Honari (the Artistic Domain), after a period of diminished presence, now convey the Islamic Revolution's message on various issues. With content ranging from stories of the early Islamic Revolution and the Sacred Defense to the healthy family and a problem-oriented look at social harms, its works have become noteworthy and have gained attention at prestigious national cinematic events like the Fajr Film Festival. Our media outlets are also now playing a role in this ecosystem with a new and updated approach and strategy. Tebyan seeks to influence the virtual space with short, well-crafted productions. Tehran Times and Mehr News Agency, with renewed vigor, are aiming for a serious and important media position in the domestic and international arenas, striving to be influential. And the Nahzat Media Arts Center, with its numerous short narrative programs and productions, plays a serious role in producing revolutionary content that meets media standards. For instance, can one ignore the role of a program like "Mahfel" in raising the standards of programming with Holy Quran content?

The Islamic Propagation Organization's communication network with the community of Ahl al-Bayt eulogists, religious committees, and assemblies across the country is also being pursued with a fresh atmosphere by the Organization of Religious Committees and Associations. This ranges from providing serious and academic content for these assemblies to helping modernize their social and cultural missions.

The system for youth-specific activities is also advancing at a higher level than ever before. In addition to the Sadra Schools Organization, the Adolescent Foundation of the Islamic Propagation Organization supports fresh student movements like "Daughters of Hajj Qasem," "Noavin," and others.

And of course, there is Hozeh Honari (the Artistic Domain) with its world of trend-setting artistic productions and major events, each a universe of significant happenings that requires a broader discussion. In recent years, with a "trans-Tehran" strategy, it has tried to step beyond Tehran and include provinces and cities across the country in major national artistic events.

Do you see? The audience of the Islamic Propagation Organization's family is a wide spectrum, from the general public who watch television, to artists and niche audiences who follow theater and visual arts, to families who engage with books and young adult publications, and all those who have experienced the atmosphere of religious gatherings. The foundations, organs, institutions, and establishments of the Islamic Propagation Organization family are now each towering trees, playing their role in the country's cultural ecosystem and hosting an audience as vast as all of Iran, from the capital to the border villages, and from the children and adolescents of the 2010s to the white-haired elders of this land.

Now, in the "Second Step" of the movement for propagating pure Islam, the family of the Islamic Propagation Organization strives to be an intellectual and infrastructural supporter and backer for the people-led movements, who are the true owners of the revolution and this divine movement. This is our most important mission: to play a role as a specialized body in the field of propagating pure Islam across various domains to support, back, and facilitate the people-led currents in this popular movement. A movement that advances with splendor, breadth, and greatness, facing the sun, facing the light.
